Ask An Angel Program, Winter 2002
Ford Motor Company / Lincoln Mercury sponsored our
first Ask An Angel Program to bring seriously ill children gifts
of their choosing for the holidays. Children with
life-threatening illnesses completed our Ask an Angel form
telling a little about themselves and describing a gift they
would like to receive. Employees of Lincoln Mercury chose a patient to purchase a gift for. The response from
both the children and employees was overwhelming. Over 70
children from four different hospitals participated, and each of
their requests was fulfilled. The children requested and
received everything from televisions, bicycles, GameBoy
Advances, Lions Tickets, and even a sewing machine, plane ticket
and Playstation2!
We are very grateful for the extremely generous donations
from the Lincoln-Mercury Employees.
