Allie's Angels Diagnosis Bags

Our diagnosis bags are filled with items that we hope are
helpful to children and their families when they are first
diagnosed with cancer. The bags contain:
Medical
Information Manager Binder - A binder set up
to assist in organizing all the medical information a
patient receives. It includes a calendar, labeled
dividers, 3 hole punch, business card holder, pencil case
and pen.
Art Kit -
A colorful clipboard case filled with art supplies.
Scrapbook Kit
- A deluxe scrapbook, disposable camera, scrapbook pen and
tape, and stickers. This allows the child to have fun
creating a keepsake album of his or her journey through
cancer.
Angel Gift Program
Children who have relapsed with
cancer or are experiencing a very difficult time, and who
are referred to us by a hospital social worker are able to
receive a gift of their choosing from Allie's Angels.
Gifts have ranged from new computers, to shopping sprees, to
Barbie Jeeps. Our hope is to provide a distraction and
a pick-me-up for these children who are suffering so much.
